Establishing Area

See how far of an area you can stretch your resources, both in personnel and other aspects. Don’t spread too thin, but also make sure you have the ability to look at other areas to potentially expand your community into. See who is friendly, and who isn’t, from there you will be able to look for more safe logistical support.

Also don’t be afraid to go out of your way and study the political and cultural climate of an area before you expand into it. Maybe certain towns have different viewpoints on certain subjects.

Look for other communities in your area too that are like minded too. Maybe a veteran community, and a local farming club have similar interest as your community. You won’t know unless you go there and find out for yourself.
