On Becoming a Nationalist

“It’s a roller-coaster of emotions in a short period of time to discover that the history you thought you knew was a lie, that you’ve been brainwashed into believing that the way most us are living our lives is normal and OK; that basically we live in an upside down world. I’ve felt beside myself with rage at the atrocities carried out against my people and the audacity of the people who cover it up. I’ve been uplifted to realise that there are people, and many of them, who won’t keep quiet, who won’t stay on the reservation placated by Netflix and rampant consumerism. People who will stick their neck out for this cause in the full knowledge you’ll come under heavy fire. These realisations have enabled the puzzle pieces of my subconscious to click into place and it is liberating.”
