The statue of Edward Colston that was torn down has been replaced with a statue of a BLM supporter giving the clenched fist salute. Statues aren’t about “remembering history”, they’re about power and who we celebrate. The Colston statue was erected in the 1800s, the English people of Bristol celebrating a great Englishman. And now a Marxist Negress stands in his place. The symbol of the New Britain they are striving to create.
Looks like the Bristol City Council took down the BLM statue that was placed there by a ‘Guerilla Artist.’ I have to say, I thought that they would be too afraid to pull this down. They put it in a dumpster, lol
